Walmart Kid Cave Reveal & Curated Collection

I have to say 2020 is off to a pretty darn good start. When I started “Farmulosity” back in November of 2018, I set goals for the band (1 year and 5 year). I knocked those one year goals right out of the park within the first 6 months and was able to fulfill one of my five year goals in less than 2 years. What 5 year goal you ask? To create a curated product line with a well-known retailer that y’all could shop.

EEEEKKKK!!! I freakin’ did it and the fact it wasn’t just any retailer, it was Walmart, oh you know just the world’s largest well-known retailer of all things home decor. Plus, I finally finished the boy’s playroom, which we now officially call “The Kid Cave.” Y’all this cute little domain turned out better than I had planned and imagined, thanks to all of Walmart’s cute and cozy selections.

Having the opportunity to work with Walmart on my boy’s “Kid’s Cave”, while curating a home decor collection inspired by “Farmulosity” to shop has been such a blessing and so much fun to put together. Believe it or not, I have been working on this project since last summer. YES you read that right, since last summer!!! I can’t begin to tell you how hard it was for me to keep this excitement in for so long. I’m not one for surprises, you can find me off in the corner jumping up and down wanting to spill the beans and bring everyone in on the excitement as soon as I know (YUP I’m that PERSON). I have to remind my friends and family, don’t tell me something exciting if it has to be kept a secret.

With that said, I am thrilled to finally share with you my excitement of “Farmulosity’s Curated Collection” and reveal my boy’s playroom. Besides keeping this little secret from you, the hardest part of this project was keeping my boys out of the space until it was finished. I wanted to surprise them, but like I said, I can’t help but share my joy. Let’s just say they were just as, probably more so excited for this project as I was. As soon as I put together the “Pillow Reading Nook” frame that was it… GOOD LUCK getting them out of the room after that.

To date, this has been my favorite project. Not going to lie, I am a little sad that this project is now complete, but so looking forward to creating memories with my family for years to come.

Make sure to head over to Walmart Home to read their interview (HERE) with me and see a lot more photos of “The Kid Cave.” Plus shop the affordable curated “Farmulosity Collection” (HERE) Thanks so much for reading and for your continued support here and on the gram. It truly means a lot to me and my family.
