Self-Care Fall Bucket List

It’s no secret that Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. Sadly, it doesn’t last that long here in Wisconsin, so I try to soak up every single second of that crisp fall air. In order to really buckle down and get in that much needed “ME TIME” and quality “FAMILY Time”, I made this cute little self-care bucket list to keep us all on track.

Apple Picking

This is a MUST for our family every fall. We visit our local apple orchard to pick our favorite apples to eat right on the spot or to bring home for a healthy snack later.

Hang a Wreath

Last year, the boys and I did a simple and cute DIY wreath that we ended up hanging on our front door. It added a cute little touch to our Fall front porch decor.

Bonfire Night

Our family loves a little camping getaway for the simple fact of having a bonfire to roast our marshmallows. However, when we can’t get away, we have a cute little area set up in the backyard to have our at home bonfire nights.

Light a Candle

Adding in some fall scents never hurt anyone. Burning candles always gives me those warm and cozy feels. I love the ones that make your home smell like you just baked a fresh apple or pear pie.

Evening Walk

Taking a nice brisk walk with your significant other or with the whole family. Allow yourself some time to really take in all the fall feels. I suggest taking a quick stop at your favorite location for a few minutes to really enjoy that fresh fall crisp air. There is nothing like it and you only have a small window of opportunity to take it all in.

Spicy Manicure

I don’t know about you, but I am pretty simple when it comes to my choice of nail colors. I think fall is the perfect time to spice up your color selection and try something new. Plus it’s the perfect opportunity to get in some of that “ME TIME!”

Bake a Pie

What else are you going to do with all those extra apples you picked at the apple farm? It’s a perfect opportunity to spend some quality time with your family, while filling your home with those yummy fresh pie smells.

Cozy Sweater Day

There is just something about wearing those over-sized sweaters that really put the finishing touches of all things fall. If you ask me cozy sweater day should be every day.

Carve Pumpkins

This is just a given! AMIRIGHT? My kids look forward to picking out their special pumpkins and carving them into some sort of difficult pattern or scary face. Let’s just say my husband ends up doing all the work, while I gather and clean all those yummy pumpkin seeds to roast in the oven.

Start a Book

This year I’m picking up that book I have been wanting to read, plopping myself down right by the fire with my big warm blanket and taking some time to be present with myself. Take some time to enjoy that much needed downtime. Remember the holiday season is just around the corner. Taking that down time when you can is so important.

Movie Marathon

I don’t know about you, but once that chill fills the air all I want to do is watch movies. There is nothing like curling up with all those warm chunky blankets by the fire watching movies all day. “Are you still watching”….YES, YES I am!

Cup of Tea

I have been slowly getting into drinking more hot tea. There is something so calming about it. Now don’t get me wrong, I still love my coffee, but tea has been that calming factor for me lately. Fall is the perfect time to try out that new hot drink.

Now that I gave you some ideas…What are some of your Self-Care Fall Bucket List Musts? We love this time of year so so much!
